Französisches Designerhaus für u.a. Pelze

Pelzhandelspostengründung 1902 - 1936

Firma: seit 1902 Cora-Révillon Group

1723 gründeten die 4 Révillon Frères = 4 Révillon Brüder ihr Pelzunternehmen in Paris. Nach

1860 besaß das Haus Filialen in London - New York  & Montreal.

1893 öffnete einer der Nachkommen der Révillon Dynasty, Victor Révillon (1870-1950), in Kanada eine Handelsstation für Pelze.

1900 bei der Weltausstellung in Paris zeigten die Révillon Frères ihre 1. Pelzkollektion.

1903 hatte das Unternehmen beschlossen ein Netzwerk von Pelzhandelsposten im nördliche Kanada aufzubauen.

Zu dieser Zeit begann ein Kongurenzkampf zwischen den 4 Révillon Frères &

der Hudson Bay Company = HBC um die Anzahl der Handelsstationen.

1909 hatten die 4 Révillon Frères 47 Stationen zwischen Hudson Bay & James Bay &

die Firma Hudson Bay Company hatte 52 Stationen.

1936 endete der Wettkampf  zwischen den beiden Kongurenten - denn die HBC kaufte die

4 Réviilon Frères kurzerhand auf.

Révillon Frères wurde in Frankreich im Luxus Business eingesetzt &

1982 mit der Verlagsgruppe "Les Èdition Mondiales" zusammengelegt.
