Mit der Fernsehserie "Der Denver - Clan" wurde Joan Collins weltbekannt. Die Rolle der rachsüchtigen & intriganten Alexis spielte sie absolut überzeugend.

Mit ihrer Serienkollegin Linda Evans feierte sie im September 2006 in Toronto die Premiere des Theaterstücks "Legends".

2002 heiratete sie zum 5.Mal einen 33 Jahre jüngeren Mann.
