Firmengründung 1860

durch Louis - Ulysse Chopard

Firma: ab 1963 Eigentum der Familie Scheufele

           ab 2006 Coty Prestige (Parfum)

1860 gründete Chopard im Schweizer Sonvilier eine Uhrenfirma die ihre Produktion  von Präzisions Taschenuhren für die Schweizer Eisenbahn begann.

1963 wurde die Firma an den erfolgreichen Juwlier Karl Scheufele in Pforzheim verkauft.

1979 musste, wegen der Quarzkrise, die Produktion eingestellt & das gesamte Personal entlassen werden.

1996 konnte die Manufaktur, wegen des großen Aufschwungs, wiedereröffnet werden. Ab

2001 wurde fast jährlich eine besondere Luxusuhr vorgestellt.

Viele Models u.a. Eva Herzigovina werben für das Unternehmen Chopard.
